Cookies policy.

1. Our current use

The public Synaptic homepage, legal pages and download page do not intentionally set advertising or audience-analytics cookies. We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, PostHog or similar tracking on these pages.

Because there are currently no optional analytics or marketing cookies to accept, we do not display a general cookie-consent banner. A banner would add no meaningful choice. We will introduce consent controls before enabling any non-essential tracking.

2. Strictly necessary storage

Our hosting and security providers may use short-lived technical storage needed to deliver pages securely, balance traffic, prevent abuse or diagnose failures. The restricted administrator preview also uses secure, HttpOnly session cookies to authenticate an administrator who explicitly requests that service. These functions are necessary for the requested service and cannot be switched off through a consent banner.

3. Whop checkout

When you visit the checkout and choose to purchase, the embedded Whop checkout loads technology needed for payment, authentication, fraud prevention and transaction completion. Whop controls its own checkout environment and explains its processing in its privacy policy. We do not use the Whop embed to build advertising profiles on our website.

4. Outbound services

Following links to Discord, Whop or an installer-storage provider takes you to that provider. Its own cookies and privacy terms then apply. Merely viewing a Synaptic page does not load Discord widgets or social-media pixels.

5. Your controls and changes

You can delete or block storage using your browser settings, although blocking necessary checkout or authentication storage may stop those requested features working. If we add analytics, advertising or another non-essential technology, we will update this page and request a clear choice before it runs.
